Alison is a Los Angeles native and first-generation college graduate who earned her degree in Neuroscience at UCLA. During her undergraduate career, she investigated circuit-level mechanisms underlying reward and motivated behavior. She is deeply interested in neural mechanisms and translational neuroscience, with the long-term goal of pursuing an MD/PhD to bridge bench to bedside. Her passion for medicine and research drives her commitment to improving healthcare access, advancing the understanding of disease pathology, and addressing disparities in underrepresented communities. In her free time, she enjoys weight training, cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with loved ones.
