Yann Gricourt - M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Yann Gricourt is an Assistant Professor anesthesiologist in Nimes, France.

He spent the last year of his PhD degree studying the impact of opioid free anesthesia procedures on circulating inflammatory markers and post operative recovery in mice.

Yann’s overall research focuses on regional anesthesia, opioid-sparing strategies, and opioid-free anesthesia (OFA) to improve postoperative outcomes and recovery in both patients and preclinical models.

Yann successfully defended his PhD on June 1st 2026 at the University of Medicine in Montpellier, France
