Collin Teague - M.D., Ph.D.

Collin Teague is an aspiring physician-scientist specializing in psychiatry.

Originally from Arizona, he completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University in biology and biochemistry.

He then moved to New York and completed a PhD in neuroscience in Dr. Eric Nestler’s laboratory at Mount Sinai. His graduate studies focused on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying cocaine use disorder within the brain's reward circuitry in rodent models.
In the lab, Collin has participated in developing and validating a novel technology that will enable wireless intravenous drug self-administration in rodents and the study of addiction-like behavior within naturalistic environments. Collin has been awarded with the prestigious CPDD travel Award for Early Career Investigators for this work.

After completing his medical training at UCLA, Collin went back to Mt Sinai in NYC where he is completing his residency in psychiatry as a Physician-Scientist research track.
